AA2A was a group exhibition that marked the culmination of the various activities developed by four artists who had been in residence at Suffolk College, Ipswich since October 2006, participating in the nationwide Artists' Access to Art Schools scheme.

The show celebrated the association of these artists who have each developed their individual practice to produce a diversity of finished works. These included etchings, jewellery, printmaking, performance and sculpture.

Suffolk College was among twenty-one other colleges in England that have participated throughout this 3rd year of the scheme.

AA2A provides visual artists and designer makers with the opportunity to undertake a period of research or realise a project, using workshop and supporting facilities in fine art and design departments of Higher and Further Education institutions.

AA2A is a project run by CHEAD (Council for Higher Education in Art and Design), and funded by the Arts Council England.
